The real highlight of the most recent Royal Wedding, many women are dying to get their hands on what Kate Middleton wore on the day she married Prince William of England. Using more the most expensive of fabrics, including French Chantilly, English Cluny lace, and ivory and white satin gazar, designer Sarah Burton surely created a marvel of a wedding gown that will go down as one of the priciest and most loved in the history of fashion.

#4 Danasha Luxury Gown – $1.5 million

danasha
A modern wedding gown for the modern women, this gown is said to never train, tulle, and frill. A creation of designer Danasha Luxury and Jad Ghandour, this fuss-free dress exudes elegance without you worrying how it would look once you fit it in. Plus, 75 carats of hand-picked Antwerp, Belgium diamonds and 250 grams of 18-karat gold definitely make this Danasha gown a very valuable work of art.

#3 Peacock Wedding Dress – $1.5 million

Veering away from traditional visuals that come with wedding gowns, iconic fashion designer Vera Wong designed a wedding dress made out of 2,009 male peacock feathers. The whole dress required the expertise of 8 artisans to fully stitch the feathers and make the whole dress worthy of the aisle. There’s no denying that this dress made animal rights activists flinch in horror but Wong surely made a spectacle with it.

A total of 1,000 pearls and a precious and rare 5 carat white gold diamond embellish this gown. But the centerpiece, an 8.8 carat green diamond, makes the whole dress a lot more stunning than other wedding dresses in existence.
