Let Maine Mendoza Show You What To Do In Paradise

The Maldives is every travel junkie's dream destination. With beautiful bungalows extending over turquoise waters and immaculately pure, sandy shores, it's like a slice of heaven on earth. It's no surprise that it's a hot vacay spot for celebrities—every inch of its beaches are just IG-friendly.
Maine Mendoza is the latest superstar to experience the wonders this paradise has to offer. Last June 5, the 22-year-old host and actress flew 3,386 miles south to make her Maldives dreams come true while also celebrating her sister Coleen’s birthday.

Based on Maine’s Instagram updates, we can say that it's an island with boundless attractions. So in case the place is also on your bucket list, here’s a handy guide of what you can do should you choose to visit, as told, of course, through the experiences of everyone's favorite Dubsmash Queen.

1) Go parasailing
The best way to see take a tour of the place is up in the air! Like Maine and the (reluctant) Coleen, go explore the wonderful sights high in the sky. Don’t forget to have your camera ready to record the breathtaking aerial view of the place!
2) Bask under the sun
It’s a vacation, so we suggest that you do nothing more than get a tan, tread the waters, and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Each resort has plenty of places where you can lie down along the shore and just listen to the sound of the waves.

3) Eat your heart out
Of course, don’t miss out on the food and other Maldives specialties! Maldives is known for their mouth-watering Maldive Fish, which can be served in several ways including boiled, smoked, sun dried, or processed. Other dishes to taste are Mashuni, Garudhiya, and Kavaabu,  which are all made from tuna. When all else fails, go for some local pizza.

4) Experience Island hopping

If you stay at a private island in the Maldives, make sure to book a trip to visit the nearby attractions. The place has over a thousand coral islands and lagoons, which you can only explore if you hop from one resort to another. Maine and company stayed at Gan Island, which lies just south of the equator and is surrounded by equally beautiful islands all waiting to be discovered. We suggest you rent a speedboat to visit the other areas faster!

5) Have some Balinese massage
After a long day exploring the place, take some time to pamper yourself. Relax as the soothing music and skilled masseurs rub away the aches from your long flight or day out in the sun. After that, make sure you have nothing else on your to-do list for the day, as you’ll want to relish in your R&R.-Source: FHM.com
